Are you sure that you will not get used to it. It is growing on me. It is a new look for a high end wheel. The wheels you are talking about are in the same family as a lot of other, admittedly, excellent looking but "been around a while" type of wheel. Sometimes, at least in this case, I think the wheel has grown on me.

: Any guesses on the availability of wheels for the e46? The ones shown on the display models at the auto shows are only fair at best (admittedly, a question of taste), but of all the wheel options on the BMWUSA web site, the only one that is appealing is the "M Parallel Spoke". I saw this on a new 740 at the dealer yesterday and it looked great. Thanks.
