Corvette Z06 (archive)

To throw some gasoline on the M3 versus Corvette fire... Car and Driver television reported a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds and a 1/4 mile time of 12.7 s @ 112 mph for the Corvette Z06. They also said the Z06 was much faster around a track than last year's C5, "between 3 and 4 seconds faster," whatever that means. They estimated the price for the Z06 to be a shade under a convertible, or under $50K. Interesting...
