My dad spoiled the hell out of me when I was growing up. Given, for my first car I had a used 318i coupe, but later he gave me an RX-7, and later a 3000GT VR-4. I never had to work if I didnt want to. Does that make me a bad person, a "spoiled brat"? Well, judge for yourself, but I'm a 3rd year Internal Medicine resident, starting a Cardiology fellowship next year, was president of my med school class, and went to an Ivy League university. Just because someone is spoiled doesnt mean they are a brat. Plenty of people grow up with money to be lazy jerks, but not all. Just because Preeth is getting a car from his parents doesnt mean he is a bad person.

I really think Preeth got too much shit over this issue. Whether Preeth should get an M3 is really none of our business. I don't see why people are so jealous because his dad's buying him an M3 at his age. Who cares if his father wants to buy him a $50+K car? My only concern is an inexperienced driver behind the wheel of a very fast car. I'm not saying he WON'T be able to handle it, but there is a much higher chance of him making a serious mistake. I've been there.
