I don't think all the mods mentioned to the new M3 will have it take the Z06 in straightline. Supposedly the Vette will do 4.0 0-60 according to Chevy even though the mags haven't been able to duplicate. Regardless, the Z06 w/ the same mods will still pull ahead of the M3. Of course 0-60 isn't why I'll be buying an E46 M3.

I am impressed w/ the Chevy aside from the machismo styling and God-awefull brake ducts. Wouldn't even consider it w/ an M3 avail.

Also - 4 seats VS 2 - why are we comparing; because of price? M3s have NEVER been the fastest (0-60) cars for the $$. This is where your camero and mustangs come in.
