I've got a deposit on an M3, and I had a supercharged E36 M3 before I put it in a ditch ... I love M3's ... but I'm not going to argue with the Z06 ... I'm positive that it will be faster then an M3 in every regard ... 385hp ... 3115 lbs ... if the M3 is 3400 lbs it will need at least 420hp to keep even close to the Z06 ... the Z06 is an incredible bargain ... but as I get older I need the whole package ... I will have to test drive ...

It's claimed that 1/5 of all corvettes in 2001 will be Z06's ... it will be a common car ... we will be getting destroyed in our M3's quite often ...

and every review says that it handles like a dream ... the track times that I've seen are very impressive ... I wonder how it would do on the Nurburgring ... watch out GT3!

I'm getting convinced that U.S. manufacturer's are slowly figuring it out.
