I also think that it is very biased of you posters to automatically assume that because you couldn't afford a 50k car when you were 16 that he can't. I have read the posts by preeth and the responses to it. Some people make valid points but some just insult and belittle him. He did not swear or use poor english until he was provoked and upset. Most of you don't worry about spelling, grammer or manners when you are being insulted. I do have to admit that preeth does give us 16yos a bad image, but we all aren't like that. I did not buy a BMW. I will probably buy an m3 or an m5 next year, but only as a second car(don't want manual or rwd as an everyday car as I live in seattle). What car did you buy you are asking? I bought a Saab 9-3. No, it doesn't compare to an M3 but it does the job. This car was bought before I was 16 and had my license. Yes, I was only 15 when I got it, and NO my parents did not buy it for me. I bought it and pay for maintenance, gas and etc.

: : As for the issue of him not being able to handle an m3, that is subjective. I am sure that most of you have not driven a modded saab. Saab is notorious for their torque steer and under hard acceleration they move left and right, possibly into another lane. This car should be harder to drive than an m3(understeer, torque steer, and FWD excluding rain where FWD is superior). I have owned this car for almost a year and haven't had a problem yet. Believe me, I am not a conservative driver. Saabs are very easyily modded and with a new ECU, exhaust, an air intake, and a few home brewed turbo upgrades the car has 293 HP. However, I do not know what kind of a driver he is. He may be a safety hazard.

For the ones that are curious, I own a computer programming company. I am in the process of starting up a tuner/motorsports shop for high end automobiles. Mostly Porsche, BMW, Audi, Mercedes, Acura and etc.
