I visited VOB about a week ago and he didn't mention a long wait list, but mentioned that if you were willing to pay a premium you could get a car in the first 2 shipments (He told me they will get 30-40 cars first production year). Premium around 5-10k, pretty crappy for the people who have been on the list for a long, long time. But he mentioned porsche is the same way bc each car is custom made and this procedure is not out of the norm for a guy who wants a porsche immediately. I'm sure other dealers are not that way, unless they have their own unmarked m3's not for the wait list, but for big bux quick.......
