It will be available July 2001. Guaranteed!
I already ordered it & that will be my second E46 M3

The SMG-II is currently under testing in Germany with the paddle shifters integrated (finally!). It is very likely that it will be introduced to the Euro market sometime next year, but there are no time commitments, and dealers CAN NOT order this yet! Furthermore, there are no confirmations that this will hit the US market at all. If it does, it will most likely be introduced on several models, hoefully, including the M5 if they can get it to work with the added power and torque...this should happen in MY02 cars.
