I started gaining on him at about 70MPH and hit the brakes at 80MPH with him ahead by 2 car lengths. We were in a 45. I could have passed him at over 100MPH, though. Not worth the felony. Barranca Parkway by the Spectrum, for all you Irvine people.
I'm very good at street-racing BTW. I've even beaten chipped/modified M3s and mine is STOCK.
My car wasn't totally broken in at the time, though. That might have been some of it. It's scary thinking what he would have done to me w/o his buddies in the car.
Other than that, I roast Cobras, Z28s, and older Corvettes with boring regularity. Haven't raced an SS yet ...
