He waxed poetic over all the sponsors, and over the E46 M3 in particular, saying how people were going to go crazy over it when it appeared in the showrooms in September. Unfortunately this seems counter to everything we have heard. I was told I was approximately 8th on the list when I put a deposit on an M3 on March 6th, but now learn I am 19th on the list - “won’t really be that bad” I’m told, because some deposits are for 4-doors and convertibles. So, the number and timing is a big deal, at last to me. It seems with all these cars being sighted that some production must be going....( isn’t the factory closed for the month of August?) By the way, the race is really good, so if you have access to Speedvision, you ought to watch it.

Was it me, or did Boris Said(Race car driver for #7 BMW E46 M3) give away the delivery date of the E46 M3 in the U.S? I don't remember his exact words, but he mentioned something about a September delivery date for the E46 M3. The Sears Point race will be on speedvision again on Monday night, so I will record it using my new TV card that I got for my computer. Does anyone remember his exact wording?
