It will be interesting to hear back from you. However, the interesting part, at least to me, was watching them (the #5 Porsche and the #7 M3) nose to tail for two hours. As I remember, when the M3 finally did get past the Porsche, it put some distance between these two cars. The question of whether a dollop (or a liter, 5 liters or whatever) of ‘extra’ fuel allowed the M3 to have fewer stops seems to be a question apart from this part of the contest.
