Everybody at the ALMS race at Sear's Point knew of the seriousness of running too much fuel. Just two races before at le man's, the Barbour car got kicked out for the same infraction. You would think team managers would be extra-careful on the fuel cell size for the Nurburg and Sears Point race wouldn't you? It was claimed that it was only .5 litres at Le Mans when it was rumoured to be much more.
