im sorry i posted this yesterday but i dont see it today.
could someone please explain how it is that a 1.6litre toyota rsi ( i think it is only in sa) can push out about
115kw, while bmw 2.litre dont push that much and a 323 doesnt better it by much. also the old bmw325 used to push
about 140kw which the 328i does today, what happened?
one more thing . the old bmw weighed alot less, and even
thought the performance has bettered slightly over the years
the extra weight actually nullifies the effect. i read
in a bmw magazine that even though the new bmw m3 pushed about 255kw, alot more than the old one, the quater mile
times and performance would be more or less the same. what i want to know is that why is it the new bmws weigh so much,
and what type of performance could be expected from the
m3 engine in the lighter m3? also for me the old boxed shape bmws look more classic. i heard that bmw is coming
out with a sports version m3 for 'drivers' a supposedly lighter and slightly better performing car.
