Did you say that Road & Track had a picture of the new e46 m3 convertible?

The Porsche newsletter came this morning and they have a neat web site set up. Under ‘build your own Porsche’ it shows the exterior and interior views, along with the various colors available. Just click on a color and the car appears instantly colored as chosen. This kind of thing might be useful for people trying to decide what color to pick for their M3. The web address is:

given the recent flurry of activity from our nationwide (and international) spy network I felt a need to redo the list of likely candidates:

From spy photos or BMW web site pics:

Phoenix Yellow
Imola Red
LeMans Blue
Black (which black not noted)
Titanium Silver
Alpine White
Laguna Blue

From uncorroborated "sighting":

"Burgandy" (Royal Red? the Road and Track purple convertible pic?)

Fern Green (refernce to this color observed on dealership
information sheet)

"Lavender" - the Road and Track pic of the convertible which does not look a photograph to me - looks more like a sketch.

Unclear to me about the status of Carbon Black.

IMO if the above is close to accurate, it seems we are getting a well rounded selection, even if some of the most populars are not there.
