all test numbers are BMW factory numbers. I don't know if this magazine is sold on newsstands, but I have received it since I got my first BMW a few years ago. The price estimation is not specific as to being with or without options, but it is an estimate from the M brand manager for North America, Tom Salkowsky.
This sounds like a simple list of official BMW specs - 0 - 62 is 100km - did they actually drive the car? Which BMW magazine is this? Thanks,

Bill

The magazine shows some pics of the Phoenix yellow M3 that we have all seen for the last 3 months. It also says that there will be some exclusive colors available, like Laguna Seca blue which it sadly does not show. Test numbers are 0-62 in 5.2 seconds, max hp output 330 @ 7900 rpm, max tourque 255 @ 4900 rpm, top speed electronically limited to 155 mph. It also mentions that the price will not be set till sometime this summer, but using Germany as a guideline it would be around $51,000. Tires are 225/45 18 front 255/40 18 rear.
