i talked to a few dealers in my area about ordering a 330xi, none of which would budge on msrp. i went ahead and ordered one and sent a $500 deposit, which i was told arrived today (dealer is ~45 minute drive from me). i took what i thought was a long shot by calling a dealer well outside my area (~350 miles), who (today) right of the bat offered $1000 off invoice. i was tempted, but told him i already had the ball rolling and was more comfortable going through a dealer in my neighborhood. i got a voicemail a little while ago, dealer said they would really like to have my business and offered $2150 over invoice. which should be something close to $2000 below msrp. that's something like $50-60 less a month in lease payments or a few extra options. my main concern is how i'll be treated when i take the car in for service in my own area. does anybody have experience with leasing from a dealer who's a 6-7 hour drive away? i don't mind the drive to pick up my car. is there anything else i should be concerned about? or should i just cancel the $500 deposit check and grab this deal? thanks for any advice!
