The C43 isn't in production anymore. We bought it in October of 99. They produced 1500 over 3 years, with the '00 model having the least production. I've heard there were only 25 made.

I've seen 0-60 on paper range from 5.5 to 6.0 . . . not bad considering this is an auto. I haven't had time to take it to the track.
I don't own an E36 M3, but I have driven it. I think the cars are both very comparable in performance.

The only C43s you can find now are used ones. Overall, I'm very happy with it, but the ride could be a little softer.

They are both equally nice cars, but I chose to get this over the M3 because of the production numbers.

My friend's S4 is on the boat, my E46 M3 is scheduled for Aug/Sept build, and the C43 is in the garage. When all three are in, we'll run our own test :) . . .

Wow, didnt know that it was still in production. what is the 0-60 and how does it handle.

we needed an auto for my wife and we found an M3 auto but i considered looking into the C43, only, i thought it was not sold anymore.
