I wish I saw the M3i in early 2001 or something meaning that we would get a 4 dr by the end as a 02 model??? (based on their newer nomenclature - M3Ci, M3Cic on sales report posted)

a 4 dr 6 speed manual E46 M3 would be just perfect :)))))))))))))

You (and Ran) have made some good points -- we would have seen the 330i a year ago if my theory held... Similarly, the E65 7-series would start appearing in their 7-series sales reports if my theory were wright... I guess I was wrong.

Maybe the E46 M3 convertible is really closer than we think...

Man, if they paid better, I'd love to do development work for BMW, preferably here in their tech office in Palo Alto, CA.
