If I had to hazard a guess I'd say they're on there because they have the production lines setup. In other words they are producing cars. Not for sale but the ones that are being used for testing. I would agree that it implies that the convertiable would be making a MY2001 appearance. Heishman is a local dealer, if I get the chance I'll stop by and investigate.



That is interesting indeed. Maybe they list them so they can do year-over-year comparisons, i.e. they plan to sell them by next year June...?

Those 2 lines will show up as zeros until at least October, maybe November. So year by year comparison doesn't amke a whole lot of sense...to me at least.

I really don't know what to make of it. The only thing I can insinuate from it is the M3 convertible will be out shortly (which jives with the info already published).

I will have to check the official BMW sales releases that should be out late next week.
