Anyone see the M3 at the race...looks like it had the 6 speed manual, no SMG.

It does have a 6 speed manual.

The Panoz and the R8 looked like they were shifting up and down only with a SMG type shifter...anyone know?

The Audi and Panoz do have an F1 type shifter (they showed the Audi on the telecast)- the Audi has steering wheel switches, while the Panoz does not. I believe the BMW V12 LMR does also.
