Had a nice long chat with the media relations guy for BMW Canada at Mosport this afternoon, also sat in the new Z8, but that's a whole other story.
Here's what he said...November Delivery, they already have the press events planned and set up, for either late October, early November. No SMG is planned he reasoned because the Steptronic has become very efficient, and the cost to create a new SMG would be quite high for the small demand. He has only been in Canada for 1 year and in Germany for a number of years. Nice guy was well versed on the cars
