And everyone mentions that November is SOP??? Maybe he's confusing the press release with actual customer deliveries. I.E. novemeber might be when magazines and such are given demo cars to test. I believe December/January are more realistic dates when customers start to receive them.

Funny since the new SMG II is *already* created and on test cars ;) The thought of having a steptronic on a M3 is revolting. I test drove a 328i with it and found it completely unresponsive in manual mode and clueless during sport mode on the twisties. The only thing it was good for was straightline acceleration, which is boring to say the least. Give us SMG! Otherwise the 6-speed manual will do just fine thank you.
