Styling wise the E36 surpasses the E46 > (archive)

The E46 is certainly not a bad looking car
but the E36 has a sleekness and a subtleness
that I haven't seen in the new M3. The new
M3 looks like it is borrowing little bits
from the Z3 and the 5 series and suffers
a bit of an identity crisis as a result.

The only reason I'm not driving an E36 M3
is that the power isn't sufficent (for my
tastes) in the US model. Should a factory
prepped Dinan Stage II SC M3 become available
in my area, I might cave :-)
