I have seen two Lancers in the US (NY area) Some one has told me they go for 36 thousand and that they are kind of easy to register because their VINs are the same as Mirages. In worst case you find a totaled Mirage at a junk yard...take off its VINs and put them on the EVO (ie. hack and weld) and you can register it...this is done with a lot of cars. You can even get left hand drive models...Plus the Tommi Mackinen edition will smoke a 911 Turbo (as stated by the Euro magazine "CAR"). Not a bad choiuce...kind of what I'm thinking of doing...for the same price of an M3 you can get a 95 GT-R..but the advantage of the M3 over these cars is that ...you can lease it at a good price...maintenace is nothing...and people know what it is. On the other hand most cars would only get to see your taillights anyway!
