Kevin - About a month ago, I checked into Euro delivery on a 330ci and was told by the salesman that the car would not come out of the dealer allocation. I have heard this from other sources as well and, as such, believe this to be accurate. Notwithstanding the foregoing, I think your questions are valid and, frankly, I don't know the answer. Dealers traditionally tell you that if you want to take Euro delivery of a BMW, you need to pick a delivery date this is approximately 3 months out from the date of order. If the same time period applied for purposes of ordering an M3 for Euro delivery, I suspect many people would choose to pick up their M3s in Europe rather than take traditional delivery at their local dealer in order to avoid the current wait which I understand is much longer than 3 months. It would be interesting to hear from any M5 owners, current or prospective, who have taken, or plan to take, Euro delivery of their car. Can a prospective M5 purchaser walk into a dealer tomorrow, indicate that they want to take Euro delivery of an M5 at, say, the end of November, and then actually do it???
