That's such a short time... I can't imagine that the car goes to 2 factories. In fact it's impossible. Maybe they ship the engines from Munich to Regensburg

The drivetrains are assembled elsewhere. Last I heard, 4 and 6 cyl engines are built in Steyr Austria. M engines are built in Munich. I forget where the V8s and V12s are made. Then they are shipped to the final point of assembly where all other parts are added to the car. Only the drivetrain is assembled elsewhere. Even Z3 and X5 drivetrains are imported from Europe.

Sorry for the confusion.
