I always assumed that the discounted price wasn't a gimmick to move more cars, but the result of a tax-based incentive provided to BMW the German government in order to increase tourism. Unless this is the case, it would make no sense to offer a more complicated delivery process including a month's worth of insurance for a significantly discounted price. Any thoughts on this theory and why it wouldn't apply to the M3 production run?
