There is definately going o be a significant power upgradea after the first year of production, just like the case of the 1995 e36 M3. I wouldn' want to spend all that money and not have the fastest model for the buck. If I were you al I would wait a year and see what happens.

I highly doubt there will be a power upgrade in a year. I'll get what's available...and then trade in when SMG becomes available or if 4-door becomes available or if I like the convertible. If you're going to wait, you're going to miss the boat, besides, there will likely be a price increase each year just like in the E36. You can be a worry wart and wait...us real men will get it when available and when we wish, we will upgrade - is that the consensus board?
