I bought a new 1999 M3 too, so I guess your idea of me "probably advising you not to buy one" doesn't quite hold water does it. It was a GREAT car and I am sorry I had to sell it - Sold it recently to buy a wagon (decided on a 525iT) to get my racing kart to the track.
My GOD you people just can't help yourselves. You act as if waiting a few years is going to be the dumbest decision of my life - what the fuck gives? Last time I checked I haven't seen any E34's on the road yet, so by the time everyone on the waiting list has theirs delevered, it will be into 02 anyway. Geesh, you guys can get wound up easily.

In your original post you were "laughing your arse off" and stated that "after the engine upgrade it will be AT LEAST '02 before it is "wise" to buy one. I may get the last laugh after all...hahahaha".

No one was not criticizing your decision to wait a few years in this thread...rather it was you who chose to criticize those that would buy the car right from the get-go. You should expect some flames.
