The following is a link to the rain tire that the e46 M3 American Le Mans Series cars use in the rain. I personally have never seen this tire or pattern in the US & thought you guys might like to see it. It does look similar to the AVS Intermediate but I don't think it is the same. This might be a great street/light duty autocross tire for us all. Let me know what you know.

PS I also saw & sat in the new M3 & was the only outsider around after the race when they started it & it was a little sedate but as Tom told me they have tried 4 different exhausts & the one on the Laguna car he & others are not happy with.
