The 1st brochure that is only on the new M3 that I received states that the max torque is 255lb-ft of torque @4900rpm. The new 2000-2001 brochure regarding BMWs whole product line that I called BMW customer service line to request states that it has 260 lb-ft of torque. The brochure has the usual pic of the pheonix yellow M3 that we have seen a lot that was taken what looks like to be the arizonaesque desert. It is interesting because this is the latest brochure and in the past they have never commited to the previous facts of 330Hp/255lb-ft stating that this is only preliminary data.
