Hey Group,

I've noticed that BMW has been involved with several "Oh yeah, we changed this, and that". Namely, the cross drilled brake rotors, exhaust changes (apparently they haven't finalized this yet), and according to this recent picture of the LSB (Ughh) BMW M3, the steering wheel's middle spoke is now doubled (more similar to the new 3-Series wheel), instead of the solid spoke shown on the recently released brochure (which IMO is already outdated)...

THIS IS MY THEORY...
BMW is delaying the new M3 for a number of months not because they don't know how to build a car, but because they are testing several new features, and performance enhancements for the new M3, so that they do it right the first time, otherwise it will haunt them for the rest of the M3's not so near future...

These already confirmed changes include cross drilled rotors, AND as BMW has mentioned countlessly, "Whenever we increase the Engine's power, it is also followed by an increase in braking power..."

Again, I wish... I wish, and I wish this is true... but the signs do point to YES, the only questions is, how many of these changes will make it into the first production run... :-)

Wish List:
DVD Navigation, Cross Drilled Brake Rotors, 360 bhp 3.4L engine, SMG (Not for me, but would be re-assuring of BMW's mentality), Chrome Shadow Metallic Replica (We've already heard about this a few times). Cross your fingers...

Ken,
