First off; cross drilled rotors are utterly pointless. Their only benefit is to look cool to the technically ignorant. They don't aid cooling, and they don't lighten the brakes. Don't bother asking me to explain that. If you truly want to learn, do your own research.

Secondly if there is a potential problem with cross-drilled rotors it's insignificantly small. Are you aware that most motorcycles have had cross-drilled disks for the past 10 yeas?

Porsche already provides cross-drilled rotors throughout their entire line, here in Canada anyway. Don't you get them in the US? If you don't BMW likely won't be providing them either.
