I was looking at the pics of the Laguna Seca M3 posted below and it sticks out that they changed the rear spoiler on the trunk lid. It is MUCH larger than the one I saw on the E46 M3 at the New York Auto Show and the one on my M5. It must have been one of the changes they produced during this extended testing period. The spoiler doesn't look too bad, but it's not as discrete as the older version.
