I mean, it wouldn´t be the first time BMW Sweden does one of the, now days, famous misstakes (?) and hold back on orders for some uggly reason. Compare BMW X5, which up to today has had NO delivery to private persons here in Sweden... First delivery might (!) be in Novembre this year - if you're lucky...).
And BMW Sweden wonders why people import there cars from EU....
Hej Lars,
Well, I am sure that's what I heard, but I am of course not sure about the accuracy of this particular information, since it is not official and not affirmative -- this is just what my dealer understood from talking to his wife at Swedish BMW HQ about what's up with the M3.
I am sure our friend Andreas in Switzerland will be able to get further information on this, as I understand he has a signed order and expects delivery around new year.
By the way, are you certain no X5's have been delivered in Sweden yet? I passed one when driving to my dealer just a few hours ago, and my dealer has one standing in his showroom that seems ready to be delivered. Have you ordered one yourself, or are you considering an M3? Myself I just signed an order for the new 530i Touring -01, and will await the upgraded M3 that I still expect in 1-2 years.
