There is no way that it will be delayed for year. That would be a total crisis and caos and screw up BMW

I just read a recent post by "beewang" -- it seems he saw a ready-to-ship car at the delivery center in Munich, and the guy who bought it would only have to wait another month until delivery...

Well, it seems BMW will be getting cars out to customers pretty soon after all, but perhaps it is just a first limited run, and the lucky few buyers (who ordered long ago with a down-payment) will get a nice deal on the upgraded version..? Pure speculation on my behalf of course, but somehow I get the feeling that BMW is still working on the car and need more time to present the "final" first version...

I am sure BMW will set everything straight and clarify the situation within the next couple of weeks.
