Over here they have done comparisons with the Boxster S, normal Boxster, MZ3, slk320, Audi TT.

In general the S2000 outperforms in almost every performance category. The Boxster S taking the Slalom by a tick as well as the 1/4mile by a tick.
tick meaning 0.1 secs.



Maybe we are spoiled this side of the pond, but no magazine has even compared the S2000 to a std Boxster let alone the S. All the journos complain about lack of torque and driveability on the twisty stuff. It hardly sets the world on fire performance figure wise.

Its not a badge thing either as the Accord & Integra Type R have always been rated highly.

The S2000 always competes against the Lotus Elise and loses. I love the looks of the S2000, but its not an ideal everday car. I'll stay waiting for the M3
