Your right the M3 should not be compared with the S2000. THey are totally different cars and most likely buys won't be looking at them together.

All first year cars usually have problems. I can't wait to see what the new M3 will have. Will it be like the M5 with Oil consumption problems ???

Hey Chris or Alex! Why don't you tell these guys how i spanked your S2000 with my 1998 S70 T5 5-speed! Great car my ass!! How about the rear end that blew up and the crazy grinding into second gear on that "great" S2000. As far as the Boxster being a status car who the hell are you kidding?!? It's Porsche's entry level car, not their status car! The M3 will spank both the Boxster S and S2000 even worse than I spanked it with my Volvo. In fact the new M3 will never be compared with these vehicles. What you must remember is that the E46 M3 will have 330+ hp!! That is serious horsepower!! Not this 200 some odd hp rice burner or chick Porsche!! Get used to my quad exhaust...
