the mirrors are aerodynamic-mirrors and look awesome!
although they're standard on the M3 and M5 (and to be accurate, the X5 Le Mans too), putting them on your 'regular' 3-series doens't have to mean you're a M3 poster! ever thought of the fact people put them on simply because they're beautiful??
i.e. i had all trims painted titansilver on my 330i, but that doesn't mean i want to have my sedan look like a coupe, does it? i had the AC Schnitzer mirrors installed on the, but that doesn't make my car or me a wannabe-M3, does it?

ok, when people start putting 4 exhaust-pipes, a small grill on the side and a M3-badge on their regular 3 (and I mean regular with the upmost respect!) you can start wondering if they are trying to let it look like a M3... but mirrors? and even then, let them mod their car... we're enthausiats!
when the M3-mirrors come out, I'll be one of the first to order! Now let's hope they fit on a sedan....

What he should have asked is how to get the mirrors that are currently on the '00 M5 and the upcoming '01 M3. I too am looking for these mirrors and compatibility with my 330i. If anyone has some good info on this I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

If you want a car that looks like an M3 then buy one. I hate wannabe's who fix up their bimmers to look like M cars. So what's next? Ya gonna try and find an M3 badge and some fake side gills to try and look cool. Get a life!!!
