I read that review and came away with exactly the same concerns. IMO the M5 was already too soft, filtered, etc. OK, different market segment. But why make the M3 more of the same? 0-60 in 4.8s and -15s Nurburgring laps are great, but why take away the immediate, visceral feedback that makes a car fun to drive without going 9/10?
