When I put down the deposit on the E46 M3 back in June 1999 I bought an S4 to drive until the M3 arrived. I have owned a number of BMW's but never an Audi and really didn't know what to expect. The S4 has not only been a blast to drive, the fit, finish and overall quality exceeded my expectations. While it isn't as razor sharp as the M3, it's pretty good........
