BMW only brought in 200. They didn't change the engine very much except breathing. They pulled A/C, complex seats, liners, radio and other superfluous stuff. They thined the glass, they replaced panels with aluminum.

Putting in a v8 will change the dynamics a lot. BMW has never made a submodel diverge so much before. And what series would it race in? Do we know what engine size German DTM will be?

Either this guy is blowing smoke to sound good, or someone is feeding him a line.
