I don't know if BMW is serious about the new 6 series, which is rumored to be M5 V8 in a large coupe (kinda like 840 idea huh?).

But if they were serious about it, I don't see them putting a V8 in another coupe any time soon. That would be like putting the new M3 engine into M roadsters and coupes and selling those first before we ever see the M3. Then again, M3 doesn't exist yet, so maybe that's exactly what will happen!
