Yeah, I talked to the salesmen and bmw rep there, none seemed to know what's going on with either wood or delivery dates or prices. All Porshes were locked too, so I couldn't even get into 911 never mind the Turbo, guy said there were presold.
But for those who are interested, it appears that the lease price on 911 with msrp of close to $70k is no more than couple of hundred $ more than M3.
Not only was the sales lady an idoit, but she said that the car did not have any designated colors yet..she was telling me that you could get any color..even(listen to this one) CHROME SHADOW. That is why they should not have women sales people..I told her that I was #6 to get a m3 cab and she said that BMW was not even making them...ever..if that a couple years from know.. thank god I read this forum everyday or I would have probabley believed her.... Cant wait to get my M3...those fenders are unbelievable..I going to go again to try and get inside of it....

I've just came back, the LCB color looks awful, can't believe bmwna would choose that one over Topaz or Orient blue. Anyway, did you see a sunroof there? I forgot to look, but that luxo package had too much wood for my taste, it was everythere, but if it is the luxo package with no sunroof, it is something new. Other than the wood and the news seats, the interior looks pretty much like my e46 328i.

to wood and the luxury package was probably salesperson's error. the car did have Nav. Maybe wood will be coming with nav, or maybe this is a preproduction model (where the factory did'nt have to stick to package menu).
