The delay is due to a manufacturing problem. Apparently a machine tool used in engine production has a software glitch and they cannot build engines until the production issue is resolved. It has nothing to do with the car, but rather the equipment to manufacture it. There is nothing more comples than medium production in conjunction with high precision manufacturing. Quality is King.

So tell your buddies at work to fuck off and die or just to blow you.

Is it true BMW have delayed the e46 M3`s launch due to the chassis being too weak or something(a production problem)? Or is this just other manufacturers (or fans of other manufacturers) trying to start rumours because they know the M3 will eat their own manufactured cars for breaky and trying to ruin its image?

I have to ask as a Rover fan just ran up to my desk shouting "BMW are delaying the release of the new M3 due to its chassis being too weak" - or something like that.

One has to know the truth 8-)
