Granted, ASC is different from DSC and the M Coupe is a lighter car than the M3, but then again the M3 is lighter than the M5. Every magazine that I have come across has mentioned mild understeer in the M3, but nothing that isn't correctable with a bit of throttle manipulations. Futhermore, testers of M3s equipped with 18" wheels have complained much less than the ones that have driven the 19" variation. In fact, many magazines have said that the M3 has "nearly perfect" blance characteristics.

Doesn't sound like a problem any good driver couldn't turn to his/her advantage.
