I know 2 dealers in MA that charge MSRP, Peabody and Transatlantic. Peabody has sold Z8s and M5s at MSRP.

What is more distressing is the production figures:
4000 M3s produced say Jan-July (Aug off to convert to 2002) so lets say 571 cars per month.
BMW/NA web site lists 355 BMW Dealers.
If all 355 sell M cars, thats 1.6 cars/dealer/month.

Even if a small dealer gets 1 M3 every other month, then will large dealers get 2 or 3 maybe ?
If all allocations were equal, will being #12 in line mean you wait till 2002 ?

Now if you want a cabrio, 1500 made Mar-July means dealers get average of 1 per month.
Some have said that dealers will get twice as many M3s as they did M5s. How many M5 are the big dealers getting ?
