If so, how far down (i.e. when do you expect delivery)?

I'd be interested in meeting up and doing a side-by-side comparison with my M5. Not necessarily a drag race (though that would be fine), but compare the suspension feel, interior treatments, how the power-band feels, etc.

I got my 328ci from JR, but by the time I decided to join the M3 list it was closed already. I've got friends at #19 and #43 (!) on that list.

I went to Garlyn Shelton in Temple and got on there at #11. Bit worried as to how many they'll get allocated though, they're a small dealer but they did get 6-8 M5s this year (so they tell me).

My boss has an M5 so I'm fairly familiar with it already (driven it too). But a comparo might be fun if I EVER get the M3 :) If it takes too long I was thinking of a 911 instead. We'll see!
