I had been flirting w/the idea of ordering one for a year. Then when I started a new job w/a much improved income, it pushed me over the edge. I don't know what it's like where you are, but for me having one on order still means waiting 7+ months (not to mention the 2 I've already waited). The silver lining with that is I get to save up a healthy down payment. I waited a long time to get my E36 M3, 4 years, and after owning that sweet machine I just can't deny myself the E46 a day longer that I have to :~).

P.S. my S2K is faster than any of your cars. Hell, it's right there with a 911 TT 0-60. 3.6 v.s 5.0, that's only 1.4 seconds, a mere blink of the eye difference, that's not getting blown away ;~)
