The latest Autoweek has a half-page article with photo saying the cab will debut at the Detroit's January N.A. Auto Show and go on sale in the U.S. next September. BMW's accelaration figure is 0-62 mph in 5.5 seconds (one-tenth more than the 911 Carrera cab.). The power top and automatic roll bars (deployt in 0.11 sec.) must add a lot of weight! The fabric top has a glass backlight w/ defroster. Other info is same as for the coupe. Top down appearance is really clean.
